Growing and Growing

Updated the website last night and I am trying to figure out how to set up a blog. Rick, can you help me figure it out? Read a good primer, so hopefully we are close.

Welcome Addyson Joy DeVries! Here’s the skinny on DeVries #5 . . . 6 pounds, 12 ounces . . . 18.5 inches . . . 10:47pm. No matter how much we tried to plan this one, our plans were foiled again. This time, our bundle of joy came three weeks early. We’re just thankful she came healthy.

Last year, it was the Griswald-style family vacation (i.e., the Minivan experience of a lifetime!!!) This year, part of our family came to see us! Like I told them, “Everyone gets a bed. Not everyone gets their own room, though.” (That’s code for 14 people in a 2 bedroom townhouse).

My brother Chris, his wife Deb, and two children Mikaela and Bryn, came from Minnesota. My parents came from Oklahoma. [Cont'd. . . ]

“Happy Birthday to You!” Dylan is one year old today. He had to open presents first thing in the morning. Check out what happened….each letter is a new picture:

Dylan’s been getting into everything lately: Dad’s glasses and the Toy Box are just a few. He also tries to get out once in awhile. He’s full of faces, can sleep anywhere, and will even smile big for the camera. Alex can be a “HAM” too. I just love these kids!

Courtney has been struggling for the past few months about her staying home with the kids. I tell her, “Your not just a HOMEMAKER. You are such much more!”
